London is fun in all seasons but it looks its absolute best during Christmas. Here’s my photo guide to the best Christmas decorations in London this year. Get ready, I am bringing the festive cheer straight from the streets of London to you.
During the holiday season, London is brimming with Christmas markets and popups. Beautiful decorations pop up everywhere and the seasonal lights switch on, some of which don’t change much from one year to another. I haven’t seen the decorations on Oxford Street and nearby areas change much and you can see its photos in one of my older posts here.
I have made this my Christmas tradition; walking the streets that are glittering in warm golden lights, some adorned with overhead chandeliers while some covered by a canopy of string lights. Throw in a band of carol singers and you have the perfect ambience!
What’s slightly different this year is the floral decorations on restaurant and shopfronts. And it’s been a trend that started with Spring and carried through the year with displays changing as per the season. It almost feels that everyone is vying for the best floral facade title! Not that I am complaining, I have been quite enjoying the visual treats 🙂
So, here’s a tour of the very Instagrammable Christmas Decorations in London!
