Summer Holiday Outfit Inspiration
Summer has arrived and like many of you, holidays are on my mind? Are you thinking of jetting off to a dreamy location as well ? Need some summer holiday outfit inspiration? Take a look at some of my summery clothing essentials.
Linen Dress
A linen dress is an absolute must for me. The soft material is comfortable and breathable against my skin. I prefer the style to be feminine, slightly loose-fitted and casual.
Cross-shoulder bag
A sleek cross-shoulder bag works because you can then go hands-free and stress-free. I don’t need the world in my bag when I am out and about. Although this depends where I am out and about LOL I use my yellow Zatchels printed leather bag to liven up so many of my simple outfits.
Leather Jacket
A biker style leather/faux-leather jacket is my top choice for covering up when the evenings cool down a bit. It is soft and comfortable, does not crease, easily folds, and goes well with any outfit be it a dress or skirt or pants.
White top
Nothing speaks summer to me as much as a simple white top. And it doesn’t have to be that simple. My little white top from Oasis has beautiful detailing like the lacy mesh, sheer overlays and loose sleeves.
Flowy Pants
For the cool evenings, I like to pack a pair of trousers. Not the formal kind, obviously? I love my patterned jacquard pants from Monsoon because of the bold emerald green colour and the flowy yet tapered fit.
Strappy Sandals
Versatile and summery, I opt for strappy sandals that don’t only look good but are also comfortable. These ones from Forever 21 are a great value for money.
Other Accessories
I like to carry a good pair of sunglasses, jewellery, makeup and a watch or two that go with all my outfits. I don’t need to carry my entire wardrobe with me. What can I say, I just like to travel light 😉
Here’s me sending some more outfit inspiration your way! I am definitely eyeing those Ray-Ban Ombre Aviators ?
